Sunday, July 7, 2013. So, when Paddlefest comes around every year, I get quite exited. So many boats to try and experiment with! This year happened to be on quite a windy day. It was over 15 knots, gusting up to 18. That is far from ideal for beginners to learn and try out boats, but it was great news for us. I really enjoyed paddling the 150, but the one thing that I hated were the foot pedals. They were pathetic! Next on my list .

Empecé esto del kayak de mar ya hace un montón de tiempo en los 90. Un cursillo en un trozo del río Mijares embalsado. Donde la verdad pasé más tiempo dentro del agua que sobre el kayak. Pasó tiempo y no me resistía dejar el placer de remar sobre el agua fuese salada o dulce. Hace muchos años compré un Rotomod Ocean Duo. Un modelo muy recomendable y muy polivalente, tanto que a pocas aspiraciones que tengas, se queda corto en todo y no sirve para casi nada. Espero que con mis fotos y videos.
Saturday, December 30, 2017. Those close to us know how busy we are from mid November thru Christmas. This year we are spending our down time at Pedder Bay RV Resort and Marina and despite the colder than normal temperatures we paddled for a couple of hours on Wednesday. It certainly felt good to be back in the kayaks even if some of our dormant muscle groups protested from time to time.
